CrylicRoof is a high-quality roof coating solution suitable for a range of roofing surfaces. It is a solvent-based acrylic resin system that is low in volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, making it an eco-friendly option for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint. CrylicRoof comes in three colours and is ideal for waterproofing various roofing surfaces.

One of the major advantages of CrylicRoof is its flexibility and durability, which is achieved through the use of advanced formulation techniques. The coating has a high dry film build, allowing it to provide superior protection against the elements. Additionally, CrylicRoof is fibre-reinforced, making it ideal for filling gaps and bridging cracks up to 10mm wide.

CrylicRoof is easy to apply and requires no special equipment. It is ready to use straight from the can and can be applied using a brush or roller. The coverage of the product is 1-2kg/m², depending on the surface, and smooth surfaces require less material. CrylicRoof is suitable for use on flat and pitched roofs, bituminous surfaces, gutters, brickwork, asbestos, concrete, felt, metal, and fibreglass surfaces. However, it is not suitable for walkways or balconies and is not recommended for use on PVC or timber surfaces or for internal use.

Before applying CrylicRoof, it is important to prepare the working surface properly. This involves cleaning and drying the surface and removing any loose debris such as grit, moss, lichen, dust, and dirt. Any areas showing signs of fungicidal growth should be treated with a fungicidal wash prior to application. Clean metal surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush to remove rust and provide a good key. Cut and seal splits or blisters before application of CrylicRoof.

Once the surface is prepared, CrylicRoof can be applied using a brush or roller. The product can be applied to damp surfaces and will bridge cracks up to 10mm wide due to its fibre content. However, larger gaps or voids are best filled with a suitable flexible filler and left to dry before applying CrylicRoof. The product typically dries within 2-3 days, depending on atmospheric conditions or working environment, and will be waterproof immediately after application.
